Intro

Special thanks to Lynn
for her help in making this costume , Syaoran's green outfit was a
great success ^_^ . Thank you very much ^^ ! I bought the inner white
'gong-fu' clothes from Clark Quay (thanks to Bern for the info !)
. As for the hat , I made it out of cardboard and remaining fabrics
. I love making accessories ^_^ ! Specially the Syaoran's sword !
Costume info :
Almost
every costume which has pics on it, I would use felt cloth for it.
For Syaoran's, I simply draw the pic out, measure the size I want , then cut
it out on felt. I used my trust-worthy fabric glue to paste the felt on the costume
for a long lasting effect ^_^ Syaoran's
shoes were actually 'gong-fu' shoes, which my friend helped me found
them : ) I simply wrapped the shoes in green cloth, and VIola! I just love cosplaying
Syaoran ! For his costume is real cute! And this costume wouldn't be possible
if not for Lynn ^_^ , she cosplayed Kaitou Jeanne during the cosplay event .

helped me made the sword base using wood . Then we spray it silver
, and I proceed to make the sword cover.Heh heh..... the cover
was entirely made up of cardboard and paper mache ^_^ Paper mache
is a real 'powerful' method to apply on when ya making hard solid
accessories.As for the 'U' shaped potion on the sword, I made
it out of styloform (a kind which was different from the normal
ones, Ii forgot the name -_-u ) and used gold paper to wrap it
up .The decorations at the end of the sword was very challenging
too . I used a wooden ball for the deco, and used read strings
to wrap around another to create the 'whirling' effect. |
