Intro
:
Here's Syaoran's costume
from the CCS OVA 2. Very smart looking costume for him this
time round, togeher with Sakura's pink costume together ! This
time round , Kaika came as Sakura~ ! This costume was made for one of our singing performances
of Tobira wo Akete (CCS 2nd opening song) . for the Miyuki Kouhaku
2002 ( Red White Singing 2002 ) ^_^ ~!
Costume info :
To be honest , I was packed with
school projects and mom helped me with this costume. I did the drafting
work and she helped with the all the wonderful sewing >D! Syaoran's
hat was done with Kaika's help. |
| The sword was made out of wood. Then I spray it silver and proceed to make the sword cover. The cover
was entirely made up of cardboard and paper mache. Paper mache
is a very useful method to apply on when you need to make hard solid
accessories.As for the 'U' shaped potion on the sword, I made
it out of styloform and use gold paper to wrap it
up .The decorations at the end of the sword was very challenging
too . I used a wooden ball for the deco, and used read strings
to wrap around another to create the 'whirling' effect. |
